Clearly, we are obsessed with Nutella! We received so many comments about the Nutella Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies that we decided to post more of our favorite recipes especially in light of the holidays! These pops are sooooo good and so easy to make! They make a perfect appetizer for any holiday gathering! Try them out and let us know what you think!

You know those days when you have so much to do, your brain overloads and can't handle to complete a single task? The day I made these was one of those days. I HATE those days, but at least I usually end up baking something fun to get my mind off things. That is probably why I love baking so much. The thing is I was supposed to bake, but definitely not pie pops. That's what made it so much more fun. And I took my good old time photographing them too! 


I've been wanting to make pie pops for a long time and it was definitely about time. Make sure you use lollipop sticks that are safe to use in the oven (not plastic, ok?). You can use any filling you like but I tried peanutbutter chocolate, jam and nutella. All were delicious but nutella was a keeper.

Ingredients: 

-200g of flour

-Pinch of salt

-100g of cold butter cut into cubes

-50ml of cold water



Directions:

Mix flower and salt in bowl. Pinch together butter and flour mixture until grainy. Put into a chilled bowl. Add cold water and pinch together  gently until dough forms. Kneed until just combined. Wrap dough in plastic and chill for at least 2 hours. 

Heat oven to 350F and line a sheet with parchment paper. Roll out dough on a floured surface to about 3.5mm thickness. Using a small circular cookie cutter, cut out as many circles as possible. Press remaining dough together and chill, then roll out and repeat. 

Scoop nutella (or filling if your choice) on one circle of dough, leaving an edge. Place a lollipop stick right in the middle (make sure it is oven safe). Brush the edge with egg wash and top with another dough circle. Press together edges with a fork. Brush top with egg wash and sprinkle with sugar. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-25 minutes or until golden brown.
