You hear stories about caffeine addicts and hope that you'll never be that person! Sure having too much of anything is bad for you, but a morning cup isn't going to kill you. And since my love for coffee and tea isn't going anywhere, I thought I would find some health benefits. 

Studies have shown that caffeine not only speeds your heart rate, but it helps free fatty acids stored in the body. Caffeine is also known to speed your metabolism. It can become addictive, as many things are in our diets. Also, go easy on the cream and sugar. It can seriously make your coffee a calorie loaded nightmare. 

Although it might be tough, try not to add any milk or sugar to your drinks. Honestly, it's not as bad as you think! If you must, just be conscious of how much you're putting in your drink, measuring is key!
