Why do I need SoVAiN Deep Moisture Repair and the SoVAiN Protein Repair Deep Conditioners?

The key to healthy hair is balanced hair. Our curly hair requires a balance of moisture and protein in order to remain in its ideal state. The Protein Repair conditioner strengthens hair while the Deep Moisture Repair moisturizes and lubricates the shaft. Both conditioners stimulate the scalp for hair growth and prevent breakage and shedding for length retention and thick hair. These are our staple products for healthy hair growth!

Why do I need the SoVAiN Hair Dew Leave in Conditioner?

The Hair Dew is a support product for the SoVAiN deep conditioners. It moisturizes the hair in between washes to prevent dryness. This should be always paired with the Hair Like Silk.  

What is "sealing" the hair and why is it important?

Hair sealing is literally sealing the moisture into the cortex of your hair. Oils and butters act as the best sealants. It is important to use all natural oils in order to prevent heavy build up. SoVAiN Hair Like Silk is specially formulated to stimulate hair growth, nourish your strands, and seal the hair with no build up. 

How can I get the best results?

To achieve the best results, the products should be used together. 

Step One: Cowash w/ the SoVAiN Deep Moisture Repair

Step Two: Deep condition w/ the SoVAiN Deep Moisture Repair or SoVAiN Protein Repair Conditioner under a hooded dryer or steamer for at least 30 minutes. Use the Deep Moisture Repair Conditioner if your hair is dry and brittle. If you are experiencing severe breakage or porosity problems, consider using the Protein Repair. 

Step Three: Rinse conditioner out of hair with cool distilled water. 

Step Four: Spray hair with SoVAiN Hair Dew Leave in Conditioner.

Step Five: Allow Hair Dew Leave in Conditioner to sit on hair for at least 5-10 minutes and then apply SoVAiN Hair Like Silk or SoVAiN Envy Whipped Shea Butter to seal in moisture. The Envy Whipped Shea Butter will offer a thicker consistency and works best on sleek protective styles or for curlies with thicker hair that require a heavier styling product. 

Step Six: Style as usual. 

*Maintain style daily by applying SoVAiN Hair Dew Leave in Conditioner and SoVAiN Hair Like Silk or SoVAiN Envy Whipped Shea Butter each night before bed. 

Do I have to wash out the SoVAiN Deep Moisture Repair or SoVAiN Protein Repair Conditioners? 

Not necessarily. Both conditioners are formulated with natural ingredients that are easily absorbed into the hair shaft preventing sticky, nasty build up. Whenever I pull my hair back into a ponytail or bun I use one of these conditioners to add extra smoothness and softness to my hair. Its a great way to condition all day. Both are great for this use, but remember to BALANCE the moisture and protein levels in your hair. 

When will I see a difference?

You will feel a difference in texture immediately after your first use. Keep in mind that hair grows about a ½ an inch a month; some people’s hair grows faster than others. If you are consistent and you follow our recommended hair care steps via our blog or personal consultation, you should see a difference in your hair in 1-2 months. 

Are your products toxin free? 

Yes! All of our products are formulated to be toxin free. Our products are mineral oil free, paraben free, silicone free, sulfate free, artificial fragrance free, and artificial coloring free. Our products were formulated under the idea of "if you can't eat it, you shouldn't use it." Now should you eat the products? No...that's gross. Moreover, there are mild preservatives in the products that extend the shelf life of the product. While toxin free, safe, and approved by the FDA--are not at all tasty.

Do I need to refrigerate my products? 

All of our products are natural and toxin free. We use mild preservatives in the products to extend the shelf life; however, in order to get the best use out of our products and for them to have the longest shelf life, it is best to store them in the refrigerator and keep water out of the product. This will help keep the product fresher longer and help ensure you are getting the best results every single time. 

Hint: This is a good idea for your face creams as well! :)

Do you offer customized products? 

Yes, on a limited basis we will customize products for your particular hair needs. A consultation is required prior to placing the order. Based on the ingredients you request, we will quote you a price after the hair consultation.

There is a small amount of fluctuation that is possible from batch to batch when dealing with handmade products... Our products are made by people, not machines, and use a very high percentage of natural ingredients which themselves can embody slight variation from batch to batch or season to season. Please rest assured that we and all of our suppliers always work to bring you the best quality ingredients and products possible, and that our recipes are always cooked/blended/mixed up with love and meticulous care.

Are your products just for women with non-relaxed hair? 

Absolutely not! It is created to be used by women with natural hair and relaxed hair.

Do you accept returns? 

We do not accept returns. Anything you send back will be disposed of. If you are unhappy with your order please contact us so that we can rectify the problem immediately. We return emails within 36 hours. Please click here to read our additional store policies. 

How do I cancel my subscription?

Now why would you do something like that? Please contact to cancel your service. All cancellations must occur at least 10 business days before your monthly billing date. You may re-activate your subscription at anytime! 

Can I add something to my order? Change my shipping address?

We ship according to the address information submitted on our site, that you will find in your order confirmation email. We are unable to make any changes to your shipping address once your order has been submitted!
